Asin does not bring her father to the sets now

Asin Thottumkal has stopped bringing her father along on the sets after she was requested by her c-stars to do that. The actress is currently working with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan for “London Dreams”.

Nowadays coming alone, Asin used to be accompanied by her father on the sets of her films.

Sources reveal that she was requested by her co-stars to not bring along her father on the sets and the actress has obliged them.

Asin`s “19 Steps” with Kamal Haasan has also been held up in the meanwhile.

Some major changes were suggested to producer Bharatbala vis-a-vis the script by Kamal who will be playing a significant role in the film.

Asin’s Second hindi release: Dasavatharam

Kamal Hasan’s magnum opus Dasavatharam released in Tamil and Telugu sometime ago did not do as expected at the box office, but Kamal received accolades for his portrayal of 10 different roles.

Asin, now famous all over the world for her role in Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, plays a dual role in Dasavatharam. She plays a woman from both the 12th century as well as the 21st century. Incidentally, in both the roles, she plays a Brahmin woman.

Thus technically, Asin’s second Hindi film release is Dasavatharam. London Dreams, the film she signed after Ghajini, is still in the making.

The Hindi version of Dasavatharam, which also features Mallika Sherawat as another female lead, is due for release.
